the backup asks for an update but the console reads if modded the machine will be damaged.is this true.ps i have the original copy also.

The controllers blue lights just flash for a few seconds then go off. Its not connecting. I've changed the batteries. Checked the wires are plugged in. Checked the remote bar is in place ok. Don't know what else to do.

This is a problem with the wii graphics chip getting fried, and is a fairly common problem. My wii is out of warranty, does anyone know how much nintendo charge to fix this problem?

When I turn the switch on at the wall, my Nintendo Wii turns on as normal, the light next to the "Power" button appears and it is "red". Then as normal I go over the "Power" button and press it to make it turn "green" but it turns "green" instantly [...]

I got a wii, and I did NOT disassemble it, BUT it might have been in the past.
The thing is, The little red cable attatched to the Eject Button -- well.. It's not there!...
Does it actually CONNECT the EJECT button to the Wii? or is it Useless??
PLEASE say it's useless [...]

my nintendo wii just broke, looks like its the disc drive problem cant read discs, any ideas the warranty has gone

My 2yr old jammed a cd into her brothers' nintendo Wii. Does anyone have any idea how to remove this CD without having to return it to the shop?
